Barry attended Brandeis University, graduating with honors in 1978 with majors in Economics and Sociology.  He earned a MBA from New York University in 1985.  Barry entered the insurance business in 1987.  Barry is a member of many industry organizations, and is a Life and Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Round Table. (MDRT), having earned Court of the Table status. Committed to professional education, Barry has earned the following prestigious industry certificates/designations: Certified Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (CHFC),  Life Underwriters Training Council Fellow (LUTCF), Certified in Long Term Care (CLTC).

Barry understands the importance of balance in his life. Active in his synagogue, he has taken on many leadership positions.  His hobbies include kickboxing, the New York Jets, and spending time with his family and friends.  He is also extremely proud to have created, together with his wife Bonnie, The Barry and Bonnie Epstein Philanthropic Fund. He lives in Roslyn, NY, and has three children, Jacob, Benjamin, and Sarah.

Lori Kantorowitz

Lori Kantorowitz joined The Epstein Company in July 2016 as Office and Operations Manager. Her academic degrees include a Bachelor of Science from Binghamton University where she majored in Political Science and graduated with Honors and a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center where she graduated with Honors in Legal Research and Writing.

Lori had a substantive legal career for more than a decade with Landman Corsi Ballaine and Ford. P.C., a boutique Manhattan litigation law firm as an Associate Attorney and ultimately Of Counsel. During her legal career she successfully litigated cases in a wide range the of areas including constitutional, tort, property, labor, commercial and complex insurance coverage.

In 2005, she took time off from the professional world to raise her two children. Since 2006, Lori has been a dedicated volunteer at the Schechter School of Long Island and with the UJA Federation on Long Island, serving on the Executive Steering Committee for Connections and the Women’s Philanthropy Spring Event Committee.

When she was ready to return to the workforce, Lori looked for opportunities to utilize her legal experience as well as her interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills. After meeting Barry Epstein, it became clear that working at The Epstein Company was the perfect fit. Lori is excited about the opportunity to run the company’s internal operation, servicing both potential and existing clients.
